Future Sprang Upcoming
Work has commenced on my new video. It possesses the working title Thread Count Infinity it’s about massive egos and self-centeredness, or perhaps, not. It is destined to be about twenty minutes in length. Let me know if you’re interested in participating in any way. I’m currently seeking a costume designer I can collaborate with, actors, and an intern, as well as encouragement. As for photo, I have a couple series coming up that reflect some of the work in my photo feed; a collection of portraits and a set of colorful liquid patterns. I will be making elaborate video and audio with James Copeland for a performance at St. Mark’s Church on April 30th entitled Hot Face with Copeland (text) and Michael Barron (percussion) as part of the Poetry Project’s Meat-is-Movie Series. We will also be recording audio for a split seven inch coming out on Michael’s new recording label. Panasonic is also to be performed at Diamond Mouth Surprise in Brooklyn, on May 20th, and in Hadley, Massachusetts at Flying Object on May 21st, 2011. I am working on post-production for friend EMA‘s video for her song Milkman. The video should be out in early May and be both more slick and complimentary to its subjects that my usual work, but hopefully also smell like my baby. That is, it will be a music video.
